So, I did a comparison of my pay stub from this year to last year, and as it turns out I got a 4% raise!

Now, this equates to a before tax difference of about $1500 a year, and an after tax difference of ~74/month. That’s pretty nice, but for some reason feels so small!

Also it turns out that if I get this grant that I’ve applied for I’ll now be getting a pay decrease. Which is kind of a bummer. But it only amounts to $50/month before taxes. So after taxes I doubt I will even notice the difference.
